Prepare your garden for the colder months with our two-part series! Tahoe Tree Staff will guide you through the essential steps to “put your garden to bed,” ensuring its health and vitality for the next growing season. Learn about proper pruning, mulching, and protecting your plants from winter’s chill.

Join us for a “How To” instruction of planting potatoes in our mountain climate! Master Gardener Michelle Berberini will guide us in a hands-on class on growing and maintaining a potato crop throughout the summer. Later in the fall we will revisit the potatoes we planted and harvest them. This is a great activity for kids!

Join us for a “How To” instruction on Planting a Full Sun Perennial Flower Bed in our mountain climate! Master Gardener Michelle Berberini will lead us through a detailed class showing us how to choose the right plants for a full sun garden and how to plant them.
This class is perfect for novice gardeners who want to learn how to choose the right plants for their space. You’ll also get a demonstration on how to plant them for optimal, long-term growth.

Join us for a “How To” instruction of Alpine Gardening in Lake Tahoe! Luanne from Fox Farms, a California-based soil and fertilizer company that offers of some of the finest potting soil mixes, fertilizers, and liquid plant foods available, will be hosting the FREE event at Tahoe Tree Company.
Living at altitude presents a number of obstacles for gardeners, but with the right soil conditions and wisely choosing the right plants for your space, gardening can be both productive and enjoyable. Whether you are new to the area, a long – time resident who just can’t seem to get their garden to grow, or if you’re looking to know more gardening at high altitudes – come and take advantage of Luanne’s wealth of knowledge.
