Demonstration Garden: Conifers of the Tahoe Basin & Optional Forest Walk
Learn about the forest of Tahoe 🌲
Discover the incredible conifer species that make up the Tahoe Basin’s unique mountain landscape during this educational and interactive workshop. Our team will guide you through how to identify common Tahoe trees, what makes each species unique and the important role these forests play in our local ecosystem.
After the presentation, guests are invited to join an optional guided forest walk to get hands-on experience identifying conifers in their natural environment.
Whether you’re a local plant enthusiast, a curious hiker or simply looking to learn more about the forests around us, this is a great opportunity to connect with Tahoe’s natural environment and spend time outdoors.
